The Pascal Engman Foundation promotes reading among the young

In February 2021, the author launched his Swedish foundation Pascal Engmans stiftelse. The foundation is dedicated to the cause of promoting reading among young people. Since reading is decreasing in the population as a whole, and in particular among young age groups, Pascal Engman has established the foundation, with an annual prize being awarded to someone — could be a librarian, teacher or a book blogger, or someone else — who has done significant impact to get more young people to read.

The recipient of the annual award, named Reading Promoter of the Year, receives a 2,500 EUR grant.

Pascal Engmans stiftelse was announced through an op-ed in Sweden's #1 morning paper Dagens Nyheter. The launch of the foundation was widely covered in Swedish national news media and put significant light on the issue.

Third Vanessa Frank book to be released in Sweden fall 2020

After selling more than 100 000 Swedish copies of last year’s book Femicide, the author will release his next title in the Vanessa Frank series on the Swedish market September 21 this fall.

After selling more than 100 000 Swedish copies of his last title, Femicide (Swedish: Råttkungen), published in 2019, Pascal Engman will release his next book in the Vanessa Frank series in Sweden September 21 this fall.

The book rights to the Vanessa Frank series has already been sold to around 20 markets, including Germany, Italy, Spain and Poland.

Five-star review in leading Norwegian newspaper Aftenbladet

First book in the series about criminal inspector Vanessa Frank was rewarded five stars in a review by morning paper Aftenbladet.
